I'm excited -- I'm down 18 lbs, 7-1/2", and 3 points on my BMI. I have found that I really miss cheese (funny because I thought I would miss sweets more!). My clothes were getting pretty loose so this weekend, I dug in my closet & dresser drawers and found all kinds of items that I can now fit in to!!! Even my rings are getting too big for me! I know I need to exercise more (a lot more!) but I'm happy with the progress so far. There is NO WAY I want to be on cholesterol or pre-diabetic medicine so I have until April to get my numbers down!
98.4 kg Lost so far: 2.3 kg.    Still to go: 30.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 1.4 kg a Week

Good for you! What exactly are you doing? You mentioned cutting out cheese and such. I am just curious because my whole family is making a massive diet switch.

sunshinetrugillo: In Sept, my doctor told me that I am pre-diabetic and have high cholesterol so she gave me six months to lose weight and bring my numbers down. Basically, I am a low carb, low calorie, low cholesterol diet.....so I've cut out all white breads, flour, pasta as well as eggs, cheese and of course sweets (my usual weakness).

I am insulin dependent. I did not believe diabetes could be arested by diet and exercise. I can't believe I was so stubborn. My A1c is down to 5.2 from over 9.4 in Dec 2015. Believe.
