I sympathise, I have had exactly the same .I'm trying to keep under 1200 each day, and on Saturday, I went of grid and used 2200 .Oh boy, am I paying for it .Considering my target on here is 2300 daily calories , I did not think it would make such an impact Really annoyed with myself .

I got one of the scales that also tracks things like water weight. It allows me see when it is truly water weight then I don’t feel bad

Weight fluctuates day to day. It takes a 3500 calorie surplus to gain 1 lb of fat. Unless you ate 7000+ cal in excess, I doubt any of the extra calories turned to fat. There could be 100 different reasons why the scale didn’t go down. So you want to take the avg for that week. Thats probably how much you weigh, water n all. If you were 285, and the next week every weigh-in says 287 , you likely gained weight and should adjust accordingly

Use a measuring cup ... Measure out 8 cups of water ... One cup of water weighs .521588 of a pound. The constant information states ... 8 cups of water per day/24 hours - because your body - kidneys cannot process more than that amount. Drink your CUP of water with your meals.
