Another week of carnivore. Then, I'll go back to low carb for 2 weeks. In case you missed it, I'm hyperinsulin resistant. If I eat 1200 calories, I will gain 5 lbs in a week. So far, eating carnivore is the only way I can lose weight, other than pumping iron. I don't know if I can do weight lifting, but I'll check out the gym and see if it's for me at age 70. Yes, I talked to a doctor about not losing weight on 900 calories, and he shouted at me to eat 500! I've been on low carb (30g a day) ever since 2019. That's how I keep my blood sugar down to acceptable levels.
86.6 kg Lost so far: 4.1 kg.    Still to go: 25.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I gain just like you!! Not fun. I'm grateful for carnivore. I'm not starving anymore.

Ps, i got tiny plates and am trying to eat only small servings. I am one that didn't lose weight on carnivore at first. Just hang with it even when you cheat, come right back. At 70 you got this. Lifting is your best friend! And boo to your doc. I don't think they believe us. Fasting till 2 or 3 has helped me not eat too much and not go to sleep hungry.
