YAY for the sleep!! Sara, you know that I have gone higher protein, so since adding the whey protein concentrate to my eating days, I have gotten much better sleep scores and fewer interrupted night's sleep. So my Protein/Fiber smoothie (I do two per day) gives me 1g of tryptophan....so tryptophan is the amino acid that the body uses to make serotonin and melatonin, so ig is actually like 200% of the USRDA, but combined with the meat, fish and eggs that I also eat I'm averaging about 1.3-1.7 g per day. I was not getting that much before. Not only is my sleep better, but my moods are more stable and on the sunny side!

Awesome Debra I think alot of my problems is going thru menopause and stuff I was having really heavy menstrual periods in my life and then Oct and November I missed them I was praying that I be done with them but ugh I started the same day we found out about my hubby's heart blockage and it seems like I have been sleeping better this last 3days but only thing is and I know this is tmi but oh my the flow is even worse than it used to be making me cold, weak and tired..Hopefully it doesn't start back up again I'm ready to go and be done with that for the rest of my life....

Pardon me for being nosy, feel free not to answer...but how old are you Sara? The reason I ask is because I had issues like that in my 40's and come to find out....I had endometriosis and it was never diagnosed because my gynos poo-pooed my symptoms as #1 being weight related - lose weight...it will get better! #2 Being age related - you are getting older, it happens...deal with it! Because it was undiagnosed and untreated, I ended up with the material growing around my colon and causing a bowel perforation.....I could have died of sepsis had I not gotten to the ER in time.

Sara, most of my horrendous cramps and super heavy flow started for me around age 30, every attempt I made to have doctors take a closer look resulted in me being told that it was all in my head and no one ever went past the point of pelvic exams and pap-smears. They kind of did the same thing AFTER I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. The doctors said I was so close to menopause there was no point in surgery because menopause would correct all of it. It still took another 8 years before menopause. That is a really long time to continue going through that type of hell. I finally hit menopause at 53, it's been quite a relief for me!

Debra at age 17 I bled for 9mo and had to have a dnc done was told I had too much estrogen and gave progesterone pills I took one and 3 days later had facial hair and have had to deal with it every since.then I never had a period for a year and then I would go 3weeks out of every month and one gyno said I had pcos finally at 25 got put on birth control and it went down to 7days but still very heavy and cramps to where I barely can sit up. Quit taking birth control and been a 7day thing every since and still very heavy and cramps that kill me..age 45 night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings, and all the menopause symptoms now since I been 40yr old...I thought since I didn't start Oct and Nov I was done with my period I actually 🙏 for it alot...but one thing is if I miss a month let alone 2 months then I go 3x worse when it does come I'm just ready for a hysterectomy and be done with it I don't know how much more I can handle...

Oh and the last couple weeks I've been having a burning g throbbing pain in my right breast only it says online that could be part of menopause due to the hormones decreasing as well as other things....I go Jan 3rd to a gyno and we will see what she says but I know one thing I'm sooo ready to be done with it and hopefully she will help me find out exactly what needs to be done and will do it....
