woke up this morning down to 334 even and that's a good little drop. I started logging breakfast and my strawberries but I probably won't log dinner as my birthday is August 13th but today has been planned for my birthday lunch and dinner since I rarely eat lunch and usually don't eat after 4pm got good sleep last night and been busy today leg has kept me from doing the 1mile walk at home all week but I was able to walk through the nursing home on Wednesday and Thursday I had some shopping at the local Dollar general store and leaned on the cart to help me walk but I did walk around about 15min at least just looking around and shopping. As long as I can lean on something I can take the pressure off my left knee that's so bad and can walk around at least 30-45min at a time. Did get chair exercises and resistance bands done yesterday and will be doing them again today after lunch/dinner to try and burn some of the calories and carbs from the Chinese restaurant we will be going to in about an hour. After that going to Walmart or dollar general again for the opportunity to walk around and try to get exercise as long as I can and not hurt to bad. small portions of the food I will be eating but I know that the sodium and carbs are going to be crazy so I will make due since my family has had this day planned for a year it's something we do every year for my birthday and a cake and ice cream to but I already told them I won't be doing the cake and ice cream today also that would be way too much. I don't like cake very much anyway and ice cream only here and there. Everyone have a great day and stay cool it's gonna be a hot day 😎😎..

Thank you ladies I walked in the dollar store and was in there about 10-15min and then had couple other places I went but not really much walking around in it I got to get my chair exercises done since I am back from the early birthday dinner and the scale reads 336.8 almost (3) pounds from the food today and water but hopefully by in the morning it will go back down to 334 and don't go up any I tried to eat small portions but I know that rice and sweet biscuit and potatoes were not good. But if I can't eat Chinese on my birthday each year then what good is dieting if you can't have one day a year to not count calories and Carbs, and then get back to the healthier eating style I have been trying to eat then I will be good to go I want to try and get out of the 330's here soon as I can. I did notice when I was still drinking a mt dew a day I went 2weeks with a without loosing weight but once I drop it completely I continue to drop off another 3-4lbs.

You are singing my song, Sara, and you're doing great! I used to drink about 5 frozen cokes a week, and I would drink Sierra Mist instead of water. I don't miss soft drinks at all. I don't even consider them treats. Good on you stopping that Dew!

Sara, you are doing so great and thank goodness my birthday is not till January 2024 because I am going to have a Fajita dinner with shrimp, steak and chicken and I am going to eat my tortillas and rice n beans and salsa and chips....then I will fast :)

Happy Birthday Sara! I did check out your chair exercise recommendation, thank you for that, I will be using it as a guide, and modify to suit my abilities... she is quite the energetic sprout LOL I also found a helpful video for seniors and using the Resistance cord system. All my bloodwork came in, and everything that is off kilter, is mainly a need to do exercise to fix the situation now. Like most obese people, I will need to supplement my Vit D though. Again, thanks for that, and being an inspiration... and remember pain is not a badge of honour, it is your system yelling at you to listen ;) No pain, no gain is what got me disabled to begin with.

Thank you adipose I appreciate it and your correct the last couple days I have been out and about shopping and now this morning woke up and my left hip and thigh is killing me but still need to go to Walmart today. Hopefully this pain will go away and that way I can get in the shower and get ready for the errands I need to go do. Thank you for the birthday wishes and for your help and support...
