home scale and at 12am a couple hours early because I can't sleep and I'm up only slept 4 hours and fast for 8hours if I could stop waking up so early and sleep at least 8hour then I could fast for longer and wouldn't need a nap during the day. when this happens I'll have to take a nap during the day and I am trying not to do that.

I have a tip for that, I watched a video on circadian rhythms it talks about resyncing your self to sunrise and sunset, I don't remember who did it but they talked about going outside and exposing your self to the light of the rising sun every morning and doing the same thing with the setting sun at night, of course they also talked about turning off your TV two hours before bed, putting your phone down and not look at it, pretty much avoid the blue light of screens as they seem to trigger wakefulness and energy. We keep the TV going till bedtime, but I do catch sunrises and sunsets and I turn my phone face down on my headboard and I don't look at it when I get up during the night. I have a red night light that lets me see my way to the bathroom so I don't have to turn on a light and wake myself up. I added that about a month ago, it works great to allow me to sleepwalk to pee and return to bed and go back to sleep. It took a while for me to stop looking at my phone when I got up, but I have been sleeping that way for over a year now and I don't care what time it is when I get up, I don't look at a clock. We also don't keep a TV in the bedroom and keep it very dark, except for the red nightlight and we keep the air in there at 68 degrees so we can stay cool. It has taken some time and training, but both hubby and I have more restful sleep at night.
