2 lb. gain after 4 days away from my scale & not logging for several days. I did log yesterday....arrived home early evening. There was definitely some off plan eating & adult beverages consumed. Fast food, fried food, including multiple orders of fries 🍟 It's hard to resist the frozen margaritas 🍹 at the beach! I did intersperse healthier choices amongst the less healthy....fruit & an English muffin for breakfast several mornings, blackened fish tacos, salads with lots of healthy ingredients. And I didn't go crazy with the adult beverages....a few margaritas over the course of several days, a couple of glasses of wine with dinner & some 100 calorie seltzers. That might seem like a lot for non drinkers but is less than I may have had in the past. I also had a few desserts, but no more than my usual.

We leave 2 weeks from yesterday for our vacation to Canada. I want to be below 135 before then so the food & drinks don't hurt too bad. Good note is my shorts I wore home on the long car ride were still comfortable.

The weather forecast before we went to Florida had been showing storms & rain. We were blessed with gorgeous sunshine 🌞 & comfortable temperatures (not too hot) the whole time! We did drive into a storm yesterday, but thankfully, we were almost home by then.

There was a bit of an upset our last night after dinner. I was paying the bill for dinner & discovered my credit card was not in my purse. I had been paying cash for everything & realized the last time I'd had it was Thursday night, the night we'd arrived. We called the restaurant & were told they didn't have it. Not trusting this info, we drove over to the resteraunt to check in person. Thankfully, they had put it in the safe for safekeeping & I was able to retrieve it.

Losing my credit card was even more upsetting because I lost my passport at the airport on my way home from Dallas in May 😒 It apparently fell out of the pocket of my carry-on bag after arriving at the Atlanta airport. I've had to apply for an expedited passport @ great expense & frustration. I am usually SO careful & stuff like this doesn't happen to me. 2 incidents within weeks doesn't bode well for my competency 😐

OK, need to make breakfast so we can get ready for the Gym. Monday, a week ago was my last workout. There was a Gym at the Condo in Florida, but I didn't take advantage.

Update ☆ Good workout today. I made it thru but was feeling tired by the end. Not too bad considering we skipped Wed. & Friday last week. I upped the weight on the lat pulldowns.

We bought steaks, mushrooms & asparagus afterward for dinner. Hubby grilled the steak & I sautéed the mushrooms in butter, garlic, red pepper flakes, minced onion & a splash of wine. The asparagus was roasted in the oven. Calories were a bit high today due to the steaks & we shared a bottle of wine.
