At the end of the 6 week plan (4 weeks weight loss and 2 weeks maintenance) and 9kg down. I’m super proud of what I have achieved. Starting out I honestly didn’t think it was going to change much, but I tried to focus on just one meal and one snack at a time. There was a lot of convincing myself to just stick to the plan for the next meal and then renewing the commitment for the next meal after that, over and over again, self talk and committing to not down play even the smallest achievement and instead of saying things like “I lost a kg, but it’s just a drop in the ocean because I still have so far to go.”, saying things like “Yes! I lost a kg. I am so much closer than I was before.” The focus on a positive mindset and attitude towards weight loss has honestly been a game changer and it has made such a massive impact. I am so grateful for where I am. We are going away for the long weekend next week, so I’m going to try to maintain as far as possible until we get back and then start another 6 weeks from the 1st week of May.
