Took the last of my Meloxicam, so last night I slept with no pain killers. I did OK, so I'm hoping that means progress with my shoulder/ arm pain. I'm still babying them. No therapy appt. scheduled this week....I had to schedule a new series of appointments & she didn't have anything available this week. I'll continue doing my exercises & see her next week.

Did the usual at the Gym today. I feel like I got a good workout. When I was doing my Mat routine, there were 2 young girls sitting across from me on a mat together. They were dressed in workout tanks & shorts. I wonder how many calories they burned sitting side by side laughing & giggling for about 20 minutes. They finally did a few simple stretches then got up & walked away. 🙄

Hubby & I took a few minutes to soak in the hot tub after working out today. Figured the muscles would appreciate that.

I had to witness a gross pda. This couple at the gym... the girl was ok looking. the guy was disgusting from what I could see. He kept his hood up on his sweatshirt which is always ridiculous. They were standing 10 inches apart and he had to cup her ass cheek while talking. Seriously? Go lift something. 🤮

I try to remind myself the kids hanging out here could be somewhere else getting into trouble. They don't always practice the best Gym etiquette....so can be annoying. These girls were taking up a mat that someone else may have wanted to use for actual exercise. They were also chattering away loudly & I find that distracting. I felt bad for the girl right next to them working away actually exercising.

Yeah- that's always annoying when things are "taken" but not being used. But I agree there are worse places they could be than the gym- chatting and taking selfies. LOL

Sorry about your arm/shoulder pain. I had that for years but it really doesn't bother me. Now it's the hips and legs! I wonder if the shoulder pain is actually gone or if I am just so used to it I don't notice it. I often wake up in the middle of the night needing motrin for pain. I don't go to the gym - I went briefly right before Covid hit. There were no young people there - probably because they were at school early in the morning. But the area I live in has mostly seniors.

Fritzy, we go to the Gym in the afternoon, arriving around 12:30-1:00 PM. It's a good time cause we get in at the end of the lunch crowd & before most of the after work crowd. The kids start trickling in when they get out of school. Of course some of them may be college age. We see other Seniors during that time, too.
