DAZEY_iz_Well's Journal, 13 Dec 22

My diet and exercise has been consistently improving yet not seeing weight loss. I stay in my calorie window. i fast 12-15hrs daily. Alas, my drs appt keeps getting rescheduled because of this snow/ice storm for past 3 days. Work/school has been cancelled. its tough to be happy about any progress while my husband is struggling- mandated 16hr shifts on overnights. he sleeps 5-6hrs wakes up, eats and runs off to work again. hes ready to put his badge and gun away and call it quits.
hopefully when Friday rolls around my doc will be in her office instead of getting rescheduled a 4th time.

Check to be sure you're recording every bite; I weigh everything in grams, much more accurate than ounces.

I took a peek at your food log, and I would suggest dropping your daily caloric intake to 1200-1300, ditching the bread and cutting dessert in half. Without knowing how many calories you're ingesting at work, the other option is to shrink those portion sizes. The scale should move again.

Is your feeling of health improving, though it's not changing the scale? If so, and you're not regaining, you're still likely on a decent path, you may just need to tweak it. I've found myself needing to reel in starches and fruit to make room for other items I need for adequate nutrition. Turn a cold eye on your food history and see what can be improved. Keep in mind, too, that if you're building muscle, the tape measure might mark your progress better than the scale

Fasting isn’t for everyone. I find my metabolism works best with 3 meals or 5 smaller snack like meals throughout the day to keep it moving.
