As planned, I spent the afternoon trying on clothes to see what fits & I want to keep. I totally emptied my cedar chest and put Summer clothes away for the season. Got lots of steps in walking from the closet to my bedroom & to the bathroom mirror. I organized different categories....blouses, T shirts, vests, jackets, etc. & moved some around to better utilize the space. All of my sweaters got refolded & organized in drawers & on shelves. Then I had to move everything I'm not keeping to the guest room to be boxed up. I also had loads of hangers to be picked up & stored. My plan now is to take a load down to the consignment store on Tues. I still need to go through the closet in the guest room where I had previously stored stuff to get rid of. It was quite a job accomplishing what I got done today. I worked Retail Mgt. for 30 years & even though I have sold or given away loads of clothes over the years, I still had quite a few. You know how you tell yourself you'll fit into something again or definitely wear something you haven't for awhile. I probably did that some today, too. But, I did give up the ones that don't fit.

Gym Day tomorrow. I'm off to bed 🛌 😴
