Went on a long walk with Bubs up the mtn road this morning. Even at 8:30am the heat is sweltering. Going to see "Super 8" with Mr Coco tonight. We're going to have some fro-yo and popcorn instead of a regular supper.
My sis and I took Dad out for lunch today at his favorite Mediterranean restaurant. We all had seafood and skipped dessert. The man still has an incredible memory and his mind is sharp as ever at age 78. And he's a sweetheart. Got him to stop by our house to practice socializing our nervous dog. Bubs still isn't comfortable around most dudes and it's a problem when we have guests or repairman.
