i am not a techno geek. in fact i am the opposite, buy my husband got me a smart watch and it is helping me so much more to understand my body. just went for another run and the watch actually encourages me to progress slowly. i never realized that i push myself too much when i jog and that is why I don't like it. i also really struggled to eat what i normally eat. but now that can actually see that i am burning a lot more calories than normally it makes sense that i am so much hungrier.

Whenever people tell me they hate running I tell them it’s because they run too fast. They always argue and say they are slow. When they discover they’re running too fast for their own abilities, not when compared to Kipchoge, the lightbulb goes on! Glad you’re enjoying your running - it’s life changing. Don’t be scared to slow down even more before you start running faster.

Same here! I hated running my entire life! Also got a fitness watch to keep track of my distance, time & heartrate. I realised running at my max heartrate! I always thought running was all about just going as fast and hard as you can. 😂 Bever occured to me that I have to build up endurance and speed over time and to keep my heartrate in a safe zone.
