Today I should've weighed 200 pounds. I put reminders in my phone and then just feel disgusted. Not sure I'll ever get the hang of this eating in moderation. 😐🍕🍟🌭🌮🍰🧁🥧🍫🍨🥤

You HAVE lost almost triple the pounds you need to get to your goal. So you are a little behind schedule, 200 pounds is still attainable by the New Year. You know what to do.

Have you tried portioning out your calories?when I was cutting I’d eat a good amount of calories at the end of the day, it’s easier to eat less during the day since Its usually busy. But either way you’re trending downwards, it’s the right direction

DP, FWIW, I am literally picking up my own pieces (not crumbs!) and pushing forward as of three days ago. lets push together. you lift, walk with me. metaphorically, of course, that's a long ass walk. i'm finishing up the last of the prefab indulgence foods. I'm not letting myself have anymore days without closing my rings either. I can't help you with the food though. unless you just walk around with a five pound bag of broccoli or something like that, but then, broccoli farts... I dunno, you'll need to figure that out.

I've tried all kinds of stuff. I just don't stick to it. Lately a cheat meal has turned into a week of bad choices... not sure why. I think I love food and enjoy eating way more than is normal.

I was reminded yesterday when I was out all day it can be difficult to make a good choice of eating something healthy when you are not at home or haven't planned to bring something to eat. By the time I was back at home I wanted to eat "all the stuff"! You can do this!! You're just a little behind schedule.

I am with you about loving food and enjoying it. The struggle is real. I really did not have to watch my diet until after 40. Maybe you just need to maintain for the rest of the year (or however long it takes to get you motivated to lose again)??? You are a smart woman, if you decide to make it a priority, it will happen. Till then, keep the course with your humor, kindness and beauty.

Maybe you need a serious break from trying to lose. Just maintain? Or that’s what you’re doing already?! 😜 What do I know. I don’t have your problem. Thank God. But hey, I’ll trade your probs for mine. Believe me, if you knew what was behind the scenes in my life right now, you’d choose your issues. Ugh. We all have a cross to bear. Mines not food or working out. I feel I don’t even have a purpose on this app some days. Sorry DP. Venting on your post. Oh DP, you will do better and feel better. I almost blew it yesterday, after doing really well all day while traveling, I got upset and immediately started thinking about getting donuts. Yeah, like that's going to make everything okay. I owned up to what was bothering me, (to Joe, my sounding board) and decided a change in attitude was the answer. It's work. You do well a lot of the time, most of the time, actually. Focus on what you have achieved, which is a lot. 💕👍
