Up a tad this morning...but it's fine. I weighed in about an hour earlier. I did eat under my calorie goals yesterday but I didn't get much exercise.

Today started with me spotting the young bear 🐻 that we've seen a couple of times. I was going out to stroll thru the gardens & saw him thru the garage window. I tried to get a pic & was unsuccessful once again. I could have gotten a shot, but it would have looked like a blob. Anyway, after a few minutes he toddled off into the woods.

Sammie kicked my ass at the Gym today! We focused on legs & mine were spaghetti by the time I did my follow-up on the bike after our Session. I was pleased I was able to do all the exercises & machines she had me do. She even commented she was seeing some new definition in my arms 😁 I also mentioned a comment from Bananas on FS that she thought I could lose 20 lbs. more & not look gaunt. She agreed with me I shouldn't lose that much...maybe 5 to 7, but no more. And of course we discussed the fact that as I gain muscle I may not lose weight, but will look smaller...tighter. As usual I did a 30 minute warmup on the treadmill before. Hubby & I did a short soak in the hot tub after we were finished.

We ran over to Walmart to buy a storage box we saw last week for our hoses in the garden. The hose bucket we have isn't big enough. We were walking thru the garden center & spotted a gas firepit that looked interesting. Couldn't find a tag on the display model & didn't see any in the area with boxed models. Even the store associate couldn't find the info. I looked it up & found it online & then we finally found a couple in boxes way up high on shelving. We've been wanting to buy one & it was exactly what we wanted...and on sale for $199!!! Think it was meant to be cause the only reason we were in the Garden Center was I wanted to double check if the box we were buying came in brown...the ones out in front of the store were black. The firepit was discounted (I guess for end of season) more than half off. Yay!

I made a snack when we got home...hb eggs (I'd boiled earlier) & Greek Yogurt with cereal on top (granola style). Sammie & I talked about diet today....protein, etc. She gave me some pointers on how she uses protein powder & told me the recipe for a chocolate mug cake she makes with protein powder.

I made burgers for dinner & sweet potato fries for me...regular for Hubby. (He doesn't like SP fries). I did end the day 100 calories over. I'm blaming the protein bar (Atkins chocolate creme) I had @ the Gym...not the Luigi's Blue Raspberry Italian Ice I had for dessert 😉

Well off to bed for me....😴
