We're having a quiet day at home today. I made eggs & the rest of the London Broil we had left over for breakfast....toast & fruit on the side.

Yesterday my Sister came up & I took her to a resteraunt on the river north of town for Lunch. Last time I was there was 2019. It's funny I remember it was right after I had started my latest weight loss attempt & decided not to drink alcohol for a month. I remember ordering a Club Soda & limes to drink. We had a nice lunch...I went with a Triple Grilled Cheese & Peach Coleslaw & she had Pulled pork tacos. Afterwards we drove back to downtown & walked the square...stopping to browse in couple of the antique stores & some of the shops. Back at our house I dug up some Rainbow fern, Yarrow & Lamb's Ear to send home with her. I think the Yarrow started with some she gave me a few years ago from her gardens @ a former house. I also sent half of the Mediterranean Pasta salad home with her. She brought me some fresh tomatoes , yellow squash from the garden.

After she left I changed & gave all the gardens a good spritz of deer repellant. A doe was meandering her way down the path in the morning...checking things out.

Yesterday evening we went to a party hosted by a friend. He served barbecue with all the sides & peach cobbler for dessert. He had arranged for musical entertainment by a couple of guys....one he knew & one his friend had recommend. They both did great acoustic performances! Justin (the Main performance) belongs to a group called Susto that performs professionally. He also entertained us with background stories about his songs. The couple that is opening the Brewery we met a week ago, was there & we encouraged them to have Justin & Matthew come perform at the Brewery once they're officially open. Matthew & his wife actually have a local Law Firm, but he lives to sing as well.

Hubby's computer died on him recently. He had a computer guy come out to assist him in getting stuff off his hard drive he needed. He ended up transferring his info onto my computer. Justin (Computer guy) told him I probably needed to replace my computer soon, too, as it's getting old. Hubby had been looking at Costco & got Justin's approval on an HP he'd looked at that was on sale. So....he ended up ordering new computers for the both of us. It's been so long since we've upgraded and these have all the new stuff...touch screen, etc. He started getting his set up yesterday afternoon. I told him, let's do his first so we've worked out all the kinks before we do mine 😊 I barely used my computer for awhile, but I'm excited to play with the new one!

Gonna go in the house & see if Hubby's up for a walk. We had a short rain shower earlier & some thunder a few minutes ago. The sun is shining now.

The best is a lovely day with your sister :-) Hope the deer are still repelled! And I love my touchscreen, can't do without it. Just use your fingers to make things move, get bigger, sooo many goodies that make it easier. Have fun :-)

I love getting new electronics, but the customizing them is a painful process, especially since they come pre-loaded with tons of apps and features that I never use and just take up memory space. Once that mess is deleted and I've got all my faves set up, it's wonderful. You're lucky you've got Mr. Justin to help you guys out 👍🏻

It's interesting how I've said in the past, our phones have become like mini computers. Yesterday trying to navigate the new computer, seeing similar icons, I had the thought that computers are now like large phones 📱 Bananas, our computer came with the icons for various apps that we will be using. We have to actually download the software (we were aware of this) before they are active though, so we were a bit confused whether the computer came with some functions already active or not.

Breezy, I always enjoy time with my Sisters ❤️ The one closest to me in age lives closer, so we are able to have more spontaneous one on one time.
