I said I enjoyed myself yesterday 😁 And yep....it showed up on the scales. No worries...it will be gone in a day or 2.

Some of my annuals (Petunias) didn't enjoy me going away & leaving them. They bit the dust with no water & died on me. I bought some new plants to replace them today. I planted some red Mandevilla & white Vinca in the large planter in front of the stone chimney out front. There is also Rosemary in that planter. I put some red, pink & green Polkadot Plant & Coleus in the flowerbox on the deck rail. And I found a white & red mix Geranium marked down for a big stone planter in the front gardens. Hopefully, everything survives the rest of the Summer.

It has been cooler for a couple of days....actually in the 70's til afternoon with highs in the 80's. It's a pleasant reprieve from the sweltering heat we had in the high 90's. We got in a walk this afternoon. We saw 3 deer....one of them a young buck. We don't see the males often. One was actually inside our neighbor's fenced yard. When she was ready to leave she easily jumped right over. And I spotted a bunny.

Hubby grilled a London Broil for dinner & I made corn on the cob & sliced some tomatoes. The London Broil was tasty but not quite as tender as the Flat Iron Steaks we like. I did marinate it.

The Stanley Cup playoffs are on tonight, so I allowed Hubby control of the TV 😉😏

The game should be over soon....Colorado is leading by 1 point over Tampa. If Tampa doesn't score Colorado gets the Cup.

Yeah, I have difficulty keeping my eye on that puck. We missed the last game! Dad thought it was Monday. He watched the highlights thought. It was exciting for Colorado to win after all these years!
