Oh lovely Mel! What a horrible time. I don’t know what I’d do. I’d cry. I’d make a big fuss. I’d ask for a PUBLIC apology. This is just so out of order. I feel so much for you. When you are an honest, law abiding person and you get accused its just dreadful. It was probably a distraction as well - “that lady stole a £1.50 toy (I will just take £500 of whisky while you apprehend the wicked woman) haha, bye”

Being shamed in the UK for potentially steeling something is just a normal day in anyone’s life who still doesn’t shop online. Who can cope with those radio activated stickers which are everywhere from meat to make-up.
