Switched to keto and IF today. Just hope I am getting my macros right. This is all new and very exciting.
90 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 25 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Hope this change does the trick. Remember with Keto its important not to over consume protein. Over consuming protein will cause you to be kicked out of Ketosis because the body will just convert it to Glucose/Carbs via Gluconeogenesis and take care in your sources for dietary fats.

second what someone already suggested - Dr Berg's videos - short and very informative and he has already done all the research. i have lost 18kgs and for the first time in a very long time my cravings disappeared and on this way of eating I feel in control rather than food controlling me! My only regret - i didn't start this sooner😊 oh and i have to buy new clothes too! A wonderful problem to have!

Thanks for asking YdoB.The first 4 days actually went better than I expected. I dodged keto flu😣and managed to keep my carbs under 35 grams a day, aiming for 30grams.My fat ratio is around 60perc and protein 30.will see how it goes this weekend being around the family s chocolate and hot cross buns😂But my energy levels has increased and so far I am loving keto and IF

i learnt a phrase from a Keto expert on Instsgram (sorry forgot her full name) she says when you are faced with tempting goodies just remind yourself that is "Not My Food"! By this time last year I had already eaten two full boxes of Beacon marshmallow easter eggs and a few evil things from Woollies(🤣) not to mention several lots of hot cross buns! Being on Keto and intermittent fasting has definitely helped as well as my almond butter fat bombs from time to time! Tomorrow- Sunday - is going to be hard but hey "NMF"!

I follow LCHF too. Best decision I've ever made. But very important make your focus healthy keto, its far easier to stick to than just eggs and bacon and waaayyy better for your arteries... I have a number of meal ideas on my page if you stuck somewhere. I am so happy about how this weekend has gone, I've been solid all the way without missing out on a single treat (I've never much loved hot crossed buns so there's that, and I use Devilliers keto chocolate so I don't feel like I'm dying for a choccies ☘️

Waist away, Love your meal pics!!! And will never sacrifice my veggies, I eat two meals in my feeding window and try to include at least 4 portions of greens. Just miss fruit though!!

Good luck it's a journey to be taken only with the correct mind set and goal. My promise to myself is that on the 1st July this year when my daughter gets married I would like to dance one song without feeling out of breath. I started on the 1st May @ 147 kg and I am aiming for 125 kg on the day of the wedding. My overall target at this stage is 113. I have lost 9.4 kg in 9 days. I aim to eat less than 500 calories a day and then cycle for at least one hour and try to maintain a heart rate above 131 for 40 minutes. Slowly but surely I am getting there 👍🥂🥇⏳

@Niekkie - I am sure you will make your target of you push through, I really kindly urge you though to look after yourself - less than 500 calories per day is not even enough to maintain body organ function, and for the long term can seriously damage your metabolism. I really applaud you for your goal for your daughters wedding, it's beautiful, but don't put your life at risk to get there like that - I assure you 1500calories will also do the job ❤️❤️ take care of yourself
