Not bad after a week of debauchery 😁 Up 2.4 lbs. I mentioned I was tracking....but only afterwards & I'm not sure how accurately. Of course it's one thing to go off plan for a week's vacation....quite another to start eating that way all the time. I could literally gain 100 lbs. in a year. That's not realistic for me cause I've never been THAT much overweight, but I could definitely wipe out all of loss from the past 2 years. So....I'm back to tracking as I go...eating healthier most of the time. I did make some good choices this week. I had LOTS of seafood & veggies. I still started my morning with fruit, 🍓🍑🫐 but a donut 🍩 or 2 may have replaced my usual 1/2 bagel 🥯 There were lots of adult beverages but I stuck to White Claws & Truly seltzers most of the time on the beach.

There was plenty of time with my butt planted in the sand but still got lots of steps in. We loaded the heavy chairs & beach bags into my sister's car but walked across the property to the beach from our cottage. Our accommodations were on the 2nd level of of the cottage, so stairs...and stairs down to the beach from the boardwalk. Our outings into town included walking and we did do one long walk on the beach. I'm counting it all!

Easing back into my routine at home. I'm all unpacked & have started a load of laundry. I'll probably walk with Hubby & the dogs this afternoon but will start my exercise routine again tomorrow. There is gardening to do...the deer have munched plants and the Black-eyed Susan's are looking a bit ragged. I was thinking I need to cut them back but just saw a Finch and a Hummingbird on them eating so maybe I need to leave them alone. It feels a bit cooler. Fall will on its way soon.

I'm going to read a chapter in my book then go find something to eat and watch an episode of my DVR'd TV.

Not sure what I'm cooking tonight...not a lot of choices in the freezer. Maybe some shrimp & pasta with a salad.

Had a great time with the girls but it feels good to be home 🏡 😊
