Yesterday I decided to go for it and have whatever appealed to me on the menu when we were out for brunch.. There were more basic breakfast choices...and salads. I decided I wanted something I don't usually cook for myself, so ordered the Samon croquettes with poached eggs on an English muffin. I ate every bite of the eggs, salmon & muffin, but left some of the home fried potatoes. Also ate the arugula & apple salad. I was full but not overly stuffed. When I logged everything later...including the 2 pomegranate mimosas it added up to a substantial amount of calories.

We walked around to a few of the shops & I found a cute pair of beachy earrings for our trip. My great nieces wanted ice cream so we stopped at the shop. I was feeling full so didn't order anything. My sister ordered a scoop of Strawberry Chunk and the portion was huge! She said grab a spoon if I wanted some so I had 4 bites. 😊🍧

We went back to our neice's house & hung around for awhile. We had planned to chill in the pool but she ended up having unexpected company....her mother in law, sister in law & some out of town relatives. We left the pool to all the rowdy kids. I got to see the progress on my Sister's apartment. It's looking really nice & hopefully she'll be in before we leave for the beach. Since she's in her daughter's guest room upstairs now, planned renovations to her daughter's house are on hold til she gets moved. They just bought the house in March and have plans to paint, carpet the bedrooms, etc. Plus my niece is waiting to update furnishings til my sister decides what, of all the stuff she has in storage she will be using in her place. An estimated 2 month renovation has taken 5 months.

Back at home I cooked pork chops, brussels sprouts & apple sauce for dinner. Dessert was a 40 calorie Outshine Pop. Not real high calorie so I ended up around 2100 calories for the day.

Today, I spent 2 hours on the phone with my daughter. I started out finishing my coffee...eventually I put her on speaker & got dressed, made the bed & pulled a few Summer clothes out of my cedar chest & packed up some Winter stuff I'd never gotten around to to free up some hangers. I actually put a few pieces of the Summer clothing in the give away pile cause it's too big, now.

After we hung up I mixed up a batch of fertilizer & sprayed the roses, tomatoes & all of the other flowering plants.

No workout yesterday...and none today. I did get a walk in & I will walk before dinner, today.

Either chicken or tilapia planned for dinner. I have fresh green beans to cook.

I tried my 2 piece Swimsuit on a couple of days ago, again. I determined that anything I'm not completely crazy about on my body is going to show no matter what swimsuit I choose to wear, so I'm good. ⛱🌊👙🩱

Yes, DP. She is doing well but is SO ready to be in her own space with her own furniture & stuff. Her savior has been she's an avid gardener and has been working, getting the gardens into shape on her daughter's new property. Her daughter doesn't garden...that's her husband's thing...but he's been busy doing house projects. Thank you! Hoping to lose 3 lbs. before we go away,p but if I don't that's OK, too 😀
