From my experience, you should not ignore going to a dietician. I had been stumbling around in the dark and failing a lot before I finally bit the bullet and saw an expert hand to guide me. Turns out it was a friendly conversation with no judgement and they tweaked what I ate instead of totally overhauling it. I should probably let go of my stigma for psychologists as well lol.
106.6 kg Lost so far: 17.4 kg.    Still to go: 41.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
