Finished the day yesterday almost 200 calories under my allowance. Down on the scale right at goal. I have been thinking before I go to the beach I'd like to be under goal by at least 5 lbs. But, not why you might think. A week with the girls means I'll eat a little more, drink a little more...and that would give me a cushion. I need to decide how to make that happen.

I was planning to do my exercises on the deck earlier but got distracted. I tried to fill the citronella oil lamp & discovered the wick was all yucky & there was sludge at the bottom. Not sure the last time I used it. So I emptied the lamp out & tried to replace the wick with one from another oil lamp. It was too fat & not working. I rubbed blisters on my fingers trying to twist it in. By that time I was all hot & sweaty 😒 So, I gave up on the oil lamp for now til I can buy a proper replacement wick. I cleaned up & put away all the stuff I had dragged out & went off to clip some stuff in the garden.

BUT, I did eventually get back to the deck & my exercises ☺ One of the yoga poses is just lying on your back in a relaxed state. I was lying there before starting the exercise segment...just looking at the blue sky...& the fluffy clouds floating by...thinking "Now this is nice". And I didn't mind finishing the rest of the exercise routine at all.

Afterwards, I joined Hubby on the Garden patio for a little relaxation. He says he's been feeling fatigued the past few days...not sure why. He does have a Dr. appt. for a routine checkup on Monday. I hope he feels better before then. Sunday is my brother-in-law's 1st Birthday since he passed in Oct. The plan is to play 9 holes of golf at his favorite course & scatter his ashes. He was an avid golfer & played in semi pro & even a couple of pro tournaments when he was younger. I don't golf, but Hubby does.

Shrimp for dinner...deciding what to have with it. I was scanning an issue if Better Home & Gardens earlier while I finished my coffee & found 3 new recipes to try 😀


65.8 kg Lost so far: 12.6 kg.    Still to go: 4.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
