Been taking a break from counting calories so the fluctuations are expected as it resets itself to the change. It’s ridiculous to think our bodies need the same amount of calories all year round so I’m just going back to listening to what it needs and taking what I’ve learned and applying that. Some days I’m more hungry than others and I find if I just listen to my body it’ll do what it needs to do. What I’ll be keeping an eye on is my added sugar & dairy consumption and especially processed foods such as cold meats & even whey protein etc... I plan to Keep within a Mediterranean style of eating that includes plenty of fruit & veg and healthy fats and get at least half of my protein sources from veg/legumes/brown rice etc, and the other half from meat. Don’t want to flood my body with meat which just brings up the acidity levels in the body causing inflammation. It’s all about balance and listening to what our bodies need. There will come a point again when I’ll need to count calories and macros if I fall back into eating more unhealthy than healthy and if no progress is happening in the gym. But until then ..... 💚
