Lol one’s diet is becoming a touchy subject, like religion or politics. I say, it’s your prerogative.

True that it is a prerogative but I get so ridiculed because I’m vegetarian that I don’t even want to tell people anymore.

@Christine, then you are around the wrong people. You should be allowed to eat whatever you want to... that’s goes for any other life choices you choose to make. I get the same ridicule when I choose to do intermittent fasting or choose to eat clean for a while. I get told, its not sustainable 🙄 sure but it helps keep the weight down lol why can’t we just stop judging. I sadly do it without meaning to. Best thing is, don’t take it personally. In life, people will tell you what they think/ their opinions. Doesn’t make them right. Just do what is right for you 💖

I love this Lallie, as you know I too have recently made the transition to full veganism and find that just like FGSlim mentioned, it becomes such a touchy subject. If you find something that moves you to the point where you question it, then put thought into it. Me not eating animals was about compassion and ethics, not diet, and every time I mindlessly ate a corpse, I spared no thought for the life on my plate until I started watching documentaries, Youtube videos, reading, listening to podcasts and made the decision. Some of the greatest minds in history made the connection, healthy, strong and influential people who made waves during their time. The stigma around people doing something different to our own perceived "normal" is always going to be there, but the great thing is that you'll have many opportunities to educate those who criticize your beliefs, we have never needed meat, but because its such a profitable industry, they get to control the narrative unfortunately.
