Go figure...I ate a little over my calories yesterday including a small slice of carrot cake for dessert last night...and I ate the chocolate covered pretzel my sister bought me at the candy store on Sunday with my lunch. And I spent part of the afternoon watching a couple of my recorded shows on TV. It started to rain just as we were planning to walk...so no walk. I'll take it though. 😃

Just gave all the Perennials a spritz of deer repellant. As new growth pops thru the ground I need to keep up or they're sure to find them. I hung my hummingbird feeders a couple of days ago & I saw the first one today. I had gotten a mixed response on FB from friends that had theirs up & hadn't seen any yet & some that had. My neighbor said she had been getting quite a few so I thought we should, too. Hubby dug out a bird feeder we hadn't used in awhile & cleaned it up today. It's supposed to be squirrel proof but I'm not sure how effective it will be. The one we had that was truly squirrel proof got destroyed by a bear. He's getting it set up so we can see them from the kitchen table.

It's a little cooler out today but still quite nice. The sun is back, so we will be able to walk this afternoon.

I set my phone up to count my steps. It's not totally accurate cause I don't always carry my phone. It can give me an estimate.

Cooking chicken thighs and I think corn on the cob with them for dinner.

Feeling a little hungry....think it's time for a snack/ lunch.
