What I found works for me; no fad diets - leaves me starting or craving junk. Eat anything as long as you stay in a caloric deficit...
I don't eat processed carbs daily, it makes me bloated
Enjoy a treat here and there - portion control, you don't have to eat until you're stuffed(I keep telling myself)
LOTS of water
Daily exercise (30 - 50mins) it's become a habit now
You don't see the scale move but... Your clothes fit differently!
Here's to reaching that goal and maintaining it!
73 kg Lost so far: 3 kg.    Still to go: 8 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Losing 0.3 kg a Week

That's exactly what I started doing and also exercise daily, I find that I'm no longer craving junk now that my mind knows that I can access it anytime. But I try to stay within my lane most times. A huge well done to your weigh in🙌🏾

My current plan as well.. I don’t punish myself but whatever food I eat, I portion it.. it helps maintain a calorie deficit diet.

I agree. Congrats!! I still eat what I love. I eat gluten and lactose free and follow a fodmap diet due to GI issues. I still eat what I used to, just back to portion control and no emotional eating... And added some exercise along the way. Trying to get my healthy lifestyle back.

I’ve been on the restrictive approach before - it’s not a vibe. No food type should be out of bounds, it’s just a case of limiting how much of it you eat!

i do exactly that, only i limit myself a little more than what the rdi limits me. my rdi is 2300, so i aim to eat only half of that
