Eidetiker's Journal, 19 Jan 21

Even though I know that water weight can cause my weight to flux a lot. I have gone down to 158.8 and up to 162.6 within 2 days. I still am in the habit of weighing in first thing in the morning. It also doesn't help that I like looking at data and graphs. I'm tempted to log my weight every day just so I have a graph to look at but I think for me it's getting to the point where it's obsessive. Trying to get out of that habit of every day weighing and stop listening to the idiot box as HCB calls it.

In regards to carbs, I know I haven't been doing too well, seems like I either eat a lot of them or not very much. Haven't been able to get a good in between balance.

Goals for the week:
- Take measurements & pictures to show myself that I've eventually progressed.
- Use fitness mat (I purchased Q4 2020 but never used.)
72.9 kg Lost so far: 1.0 kg.    Still to go: 7.2 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I only wear myself for once every week to two weeks because I get obsessive too and to constant flux can trigger a binge and derail my progress completely

@megangreen1 I agree. Being obsessive about it can definitely lead to derailing. I should hide the scale, haha!

Unless your cardiologist has you weigh daily like mine does it isn’t necessary.

Yeah tomorrow I will weigh myself and it's been like 12 days since my last weigh-in because I get freaked out if I weigh too much often a d god forbid I see a gain lol all the up andsown drives me nutty so I try to limit my time on the scale and go by how I feel

I did HealthyWage for 6 months and weighed myself every day - before eating anything. It really helped me to stay on my weight loss plan. I kept track in a journal of every bite I ate which made it easy to see from week-to-week what worked and what didn’t. The day to day weight often increased slightly but as long as the weekly weigh-in showed a loss, I knew I was on track.

Don’t forget it’s water and waste. I only weigh myself after number 1 and 2. I weigh myself every other day.
