As expected I went up but such a small amount it's hardly more than a normal daily fluctuation. It was nice to get dressed & have dinner...decide whether to order an appetizer or not...share a bottle of wine. Like "normal". I was thinking about how changes in habits this past year (or almost a year) had me almost forgetting I had the choice to go out to eat if I was tired of cooking. I don't even think it's being tired of cooking so much as being tired of coming up with what I want to cook. I know there are areas of the country that indoor dining in restaurants is forbidden. We are able to still eat out if we choose & I feel like most places are doing everything they can to be safe. One big difference is, the friends we might socialize with are not eating inside restaurants. We did join family during the holidays to eat out. I have become so accustomed to being a bit isolated, I sometimes forget to make the effort. One of the couples we socialize with the most has gotten their first vaccination & will get the 2nd in the next couple of weeks. We're still trying to get an appointment for ours. We qualify but demand is making it difficult to get through. Hopefully they will feel more comfortable being out soon. They did eat at restaurants when it was warm if they could sit outdoors.

We're supposed to have colder weather again over the weekend with a chance of snow flurries. No big accumulation expected, but you never know.

Hubby & I went out earlier & I got more books from the library. I shopped for more fresh fruit for breakfast & a few things to make dinner. Hubby asked for spaghetti, so I got ingredients foraging that & some Italian bread. I also bought some fresh tuna, a strip steak & some meatballs. I bought a cucumber for salads...I asked Hubby to get one a few days ago & he came home with zucchini 🤔 Oops!! So now I at least have some ideas for a few meals. I think Hubby's getting his request for dinner.
