Funny, but as yesterday was a holiday, I mistook it for Saturday, and started preparing for a full fasting day on "Sunday" (today, which is actually Saturday of course), and I cut off my eating earlier in the day than usual to give myself a little extra push, given the weight I had put on over the holidays, and given that I had skipped my fast on the previous Sunday.
So here I am now, entering a full fasting day a day early, and already down a few pounds since yesterday (presumably mostly water weight and glycogen). Not a bad start to the new year.
Maybe if I could always convince myself that it was a day later than the actual date, I could also trick myself into never procrastinating...
