Hey Mischkha! If I may ask - how long did it take you to lose 15kg. We have a similar starting weight, so just curious to know.

@Mischkha, you are welcome and doing such a great job, wow! Its amazing that you have stuck to your diet almost everyday! I would be interested to know how you got your mindset right to stick to it. I have been been overweight since my early twenties and have never stopped gaining. May I ask what diet you are following? Thanks again.

@Whimsy - everyone is unique - I gained weight over the past 5 years and I consoled myself with food! I love cooking and prepping good food, but I let it all slip when I opted for takeaways for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between. I went from 75kg to 133kg in that period of time and just didn’t care.
Well I made a decision to get back on track and I work extremely well if I put incentives in place! I have done this with all of my post grad studies and rewarded myself with international trips! I am hoping to be back to 75-80kg by December 2021 and I will then go on a month long vacation to SE Asia (lots of hiking involved, so I have to be fit)! All that I am doing is watching my portions and counting my calories. No sugar, coffee or milk - only almond milk! Oh and I gym 6 days a week and ensure that I. Do a minimum of 12000 steps a day and burn at least 3000Kcal per day - my Fitbit helps track these! Also when exercising I try to get my heartbeat up above 130 bps - so as to burn fat and enter into a cardio or 160bps for peak workout! Yes I drip with sweat, but I keep telling myself SE Asia!!!! You can do it! Do it for yourself and do what works for you! Keep me posted on your progress!

@Mischkha thank you for sharing with me. I love the incentives you put in place for yourself, that sounds really exciting :-D. I do know how it feels to eat food for comfort. I have also decided that it stops now. I have to overcome this once and for all. I also admire how you follow your own diet because it sounds less restrictive to me. Everytime I follow a specific diet plan I run out of will power very quickly and give in to bad foods. I have not started to exercise because I just feel like I am still way to fat to do that. I am starting my weightloss journey in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing your pictures of your food, it is super inspiring! And your weight loss even more!
