Sitting in the sunroom with my 2nd cup of coffee...the door is open to the sound of a light rain. Hubby has gone off to sort out the bad battery & the dogs & I are here on our own. I got up before he left to make sure he had breakfast. I've been sleeping in pretty late....probably later than I should. We've been catching a couple of episodes of Ozark after dinner so by the time we're in bed & I've read a little while it has been between 1 & 2 AM.

I was able to stroll thru the gardens before the rain. I like to double check everything has survived the night without a deer invasion. I was out before bed last night giving everything a spritz of deer repellant. I had watered everything really well Tues. then we had a gully washer of rain yesterday....I was worried all the former repellant had washed off.

I was REALLY looking forward to an actual gathering for Book Club yesterday....properly distanced of course....but my friend made the right call & cancelled. I tried sitting out on the covered deck for our Zoom meeting but had to move indoors, it started raining so hard.

Hubby came home with 2 cans of nuts a couple days ago....cashews & mixed cashews, almonds & pecans. He had been reading about health benefits. I LOVE these but have tried to limit how much I eat, cause of the high calorie content. I have determined if I'm going to eat them it's better in combination with other food. Maybe sprinkled over yogurt or a small portion in combination with some cheese & fruit like I had a couple days ago. If I go for just nuts, I'm not satisfied & want more. Tried it couple of nights ago...I resisted but 180 calories of nuts isn't much 😐

I bought a slab of Salmon at Kroger, so I think that's dinner tonight. I'll portion out the rest for freezing. And some type of salad combo with chickpeas. I saw a posting on here & they looked tasty 😋 so I bought some.
64.7 kg Lost so far: 13.7 kg.    Still to go: 3.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
