All time low today. It's funny that my weight on the scale has decreased but my measurements have remained pretty close to the same for several months. I do know I've also gone down in clothing size.

I see some correlation with when I eat a light snack midafternoon & not an actual meal. Dinner can be whatever I want. Yesterday I made a smoothie out of a creamy coconut Outshine Pop & diet Cran-Pineapple juice & had a bowl of popcorn. I don't particularly care for that flavor of the pops on it's own so decided to mix it with a flavor I do like. Dinner was Angus burgers, sweet potato fries & marinated cucumbers.

I painted the 4 planters on my patio today. They were terracotta colored & now they're red with white trim. Only one has any actual color in it....gold cosmos. The rest only have greenery....think I need to add flowers with color.

I feel in a little better mood today. I kind of dislike Holidays these days. I feel like we should be able to do something to celebrate but we're limited. Hubby seems to be adapting to being isolated from our friends & family better than I am. At least he says he is, but he gets in a grumpy mood 😐 I told him a couple of nights ago I felt sad we couldn't go out & socialize & he told me he felt like I blamed him. I don't, but I think I might work harder at making a situation work so we could leave the house. His age puts him in a higher risk category so both of us are careful. I don't know if I should consider myself high risk or not. I'm healthy and have always had a pretty strong immune system. But, since we live together, I have to consider what would happen if he got sick. But, just because I know it's the right thing to do doesn't make it easy 😕

I think dinner is going to be chicken sandwiches with Tomato Basil soup. My snack this afternoon was popcorn with a Cran-Pineapple, pineapple coconut sparkling water & vodka cocktail. I had it sitting outside, reading 🤓📚🍹 Gotta make the best of it....huh? 😊

And just as I ended this a bunny came scurrying by me, almost across my feet! It scared me but then made me smile.

I'm sorry you are feeling the frustration of isolation. This is the weirdest time, and it gets discouraging to see no change in sight. I'm glad you have your beautiful place with lots of room.... Your critters... The rabbit... Even the darn deer that eat your flowers. But, I know it must hurt to not see your family and friends. Some down feelings are sure to impact you both.
