SherryeB's Journal, 15 Jun 20

I ended up under 1600 calories yesterday, in spite of having pasta for dinner. It helps that I measure out 2 servings for Hubby & I & that's all I cook. No temptation to have seconds. I'm full anyway, so no need.

The rain has brought in cooler temps here in North Georgia....mid 60's for most of the day. Finally made it to the grocery store. Came home with fresh fruit....strawberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches & plums. I like my plums when they're still quite firm. I had one & it was nice....sweet with just a bit of tartness. Also chicken breasts, country style ribs, salmon, Angus beef patties & lamb chops....and pizza 😆

I was a bit taken aback by a comment on my dinner post last night. They referenced their weight (110 lbs.) & how active they were exercising. I'm not sure where they were going with the references. Their journal is private so I have no info on their story. I originally set my goal at 15 lbs. higher in July 2019. When I got close to my goal I decided to aim lower....lower than I have been in years. It doesn't make me skinny, but I'm pretty happy here. I wouldn't mind getting more fit but I can't see myself at a much lower weight. Anyway, I'm at a point I can eat pretty much what I like as long as I watch portion size on the higher calorie foods. I love fruit & veggies so I eat lots of them. I think if I am to be successful in maintaining I need to be happy with my WOE or it won't last.

Almost time to make dinner....so many choices & I still haven't decided what's on the menu tonight 😊

Yeah- that was kinda strange. People say weird shit on here sometimes and I cannot imagine running 5 miles, walking 5 miles and eating 1000 calories. You look great. I don't know what she was referring to.

Yep, I saw that comment also. I've only been back a few days after a long time gone and I swear it was the same person that used to say some things on here that got people all riled up with odd comments...

You are doing wonderfully! The goal sure isn't to be just bones! You look healthy and younger by far than you should! 😁 I was just telling my hubby last night that for the very first time in my life, I don't feel like I need to lose weight. From 10 years old, when I was the tallest in my class and felt fat just because I wasn't tiny, I've struggled with my image. My first diet was when I was 12. I was thin but terribly afraid I would get fat. My weight is on the high end of what is suggested for my height, but... I think I'm OK with it. You are in a beautiful place and have worked so hard to get there! Enjoy,!!! ❤️
