😀 Just .6 over goal. All I've done is cut my calories back to maintenance levels & the vacation lbs. are coming off. I took a look at my daily logins & realized I actually ate between 2400 & 3000 calories each day last week. Observations.....I could probably eat that many calories a day or 2 each week & as long as I eat less the other days I could maintain. I also know if I ate/ drank that much everyday I could quickly wipe out all the progress I have made. My calorie consumption was not just food. Mixing up tropical tasting cocktails with fruit juices isn't conducive to weight loss/ maintenance. My daughter asked me what prevented me from following my normal WOE. It was hard to get her to understand. She is more about eating healthy foods but refuses to count calories. She was always a thin, little thing....all the while eating ALL the stuff! Now in her 40's she has some health issues contributing to weight gain. But, I also see some of the things she could do to help prevent it. She's still a beautiful girl, but has gained in the tummy area....like many of us ladies do as we get older.

For some reason I'm having some tummy discomfort, since I got home. Gassy, somewhat painful. I ate some Greek yogurt....hopefully that will help. I think my week of indulgence may have caught up with me 🙄

Sitting out on the back deck finishing my coffee & eating the yogurt. It's a hot, sunny day. The gardens need some attention. I arrived home to see they had faired pretty well in my absense. Went out for dinner then came home & watched Outlander with Hubby. He took the dogs out for last call & discovered deer munching away. I had to go out & spray deer repellant @ midnight to avoid any further damage. It's a constant battle but I love the deer and the flowers. What's a girl to do?

Have a lovely Sunday!

It is so great you could get away for a wonderful visit and also a bit of a vacation from your normal way of eating. Fantastic the little bit of weight is quickly coming off. It sure looks like you know how to manage your maintenance! Sorry the midnight munchers came to your buffet. The spray did help me with my roses, but the motion activated sprinkler is amazing and means my flowers can smell like roses and not like that wretched liquid fence! Thankfully, I only seem to have one area to defend😁 They don't come right by my front door... Yet!

Mellisa, my homemade spray is really only smelly to me as I first spray it. We used the liquid fence in the beginning, but due to expense when I learned of the homemade concoction I tried that. I'm glad your sprinklers are working for you. I do have multiple areas with plants attractive to the deer. When we bought our property in 1996 the deer stayed away from the house. We had a landscaper do some planting in 2000. After that the deer were lured closer & closer. My neighbor got tired of trying to keep them away & has switched to predominantly plants they don't like. When I plant annuals I try to get some they like less.
