I'm feeling "Teary" this morning. We had a 2 hour phone conversation with family in Canada last night. We shared stories of what's happening on both sides of the border. Even though we had no immediate plans for a visit, just knowing we can't is hard. We talked about getting together later this year...maybe in the Fall. I also talked to my daughter. The retail side of the bank she works for is closing at her location, due to there being no drive thru option. She is still going in to work, but will hopefully start working from home soon. She was approved for a work laptop. I haven't voiced my fears that my visit the end of May might not happen 😕

Hubby & I did get the tree on our property cut up, logs stacked & branches dragged into a pile to chip. We were both pretty tired after. We got out for our walk later in the afternoon.

Leftover corned beef & veggies for dinner last night. Good once again 😋

I think the news Kenny Rogers died contributed to my mood today.

Although our local restaurants are still open, their business is suffering. I saw on FB a plea for support from the government for these small businesses that are having a hard time paying their employees. I have mixed feelings about their staying open & possibly encouraging groups of people to be in close proximity and their need to keep their business viable.
