I don't know how many of you actually read my daily journals. I know you see the meals I post cause I get lots of comments & support. All the food pics I post are what I'm actually eating. I try to make our meals healthy, appetizing and tasty. I'm not one of those people that just eats to fuel my body....I'm also meeting the need to satisfy my desires for chewing, crunch, sweet,
salty, savory, etc. With the right foods I can do that without eating large portions. My WOE has been CICO. I met my goal....losing almost 30 lbs. in 8 months. Not a huge amount, but now the challenge is to stay at that desired weight forever. 😊 I still log every bite cause that keeps me honest. It also helps to determine if I want to indulge in a slice of cake or a second glass of wine. Or like last night make one the trade off for the other.

My brother in law recently posted about his 30 lb. Weight loss on FB & jokingly said it would probably find him again. I gently reminded him it didn't have to be so. He could indulge in some of his favorite foods as long as other days he ate healthier.

Anyway, I'm finding I can eat blueberrie pancakes and chocolate cake and actually weight half a lb. less the next day. At the same time my dinner was vegetarian....veggie spring rolls, rice & salad. And "lunch" was a small bowl of popcorn.

I had a NSV this week....Lost another inch in my waist 📏😊

No plans to go out today & it's drizzly out so I think I'm going to run a bubble bath & grab a book for a nice soak 🌧🛀👓

65.8 kg Lost so far: 12.6 kg.    Still to go: 4.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

That inch off your waist is a huge health nsv! Congratulations on making lasting changes. You are right, that is the key to the kingdom. I don't have it yet, but working on it.
