Shoulders, triceps, biceps. Will look for something different in the new year. I'm not too bored yet- but looking for a change in my lifting split. May incorporate full body if I can figure out how to not be there for 2 hours and also how to feel like I have accomplished all I need/want to in 1 hour. Afraid my back and legs would suffer trying to get it in one day unless I still alternate back and legs and throw in a little of everything else. Yes- I think I just came to a solution. 💪🏻🏋🏼‍♂️

I do hate chest. I hate chest so much that it is ruining my back/chest gym day. I couldn't believe I looked at my timer and had only been at the gym 20 minutes last night. But today I was at 53 minutes the first time I checked. It was an awesome workout. Yeah- message me and I'll take a look. (If you feel like it- otherwise I'm sure I can research some stuff- so don't feel obligated)

2? I wish I could be so fast. My gym session runs 3-4 hours... Granted it includes massage, sauna and swimming.

Heck no- yohoyoh... I'm already dedicating 8+ hours a week not counting drive time. Still gotta be a mom- but I can see how massage, swimming, and sauna would tack on some time.

DP: you inspire me beautiful woman 💕 I would like to start some light lifting and would like some direction from someone who is so dedicated to the practice with a decent amount of experience like yourself. Any advice for a newbie?

Chris- I try to superset-back-chest-back-chest-back-back-back-back... LOL- that's how it turns out.

Yogagnosis- I'm no expert but I like to lift heavy. I would say whether it's machines or free weights- my advice is always to push yourself. Don't just tell yourself you are going to do 10 reps and count to 10. Make sure you are going to failure (don't injure yourself)- but that's the biggest mistake I see- someone not even pushing herself. If someone is doing backrows with a 5# dumbbell- that's a problem. I'm not saying start with 40 pounds- I'm simply saying use a weight that's a challenge for you. If 5 pounds is a challenge- then that's awesome but do what you can and push yourself. And once that becomes easy- increase your weights- always keep it challenging.

Yeah, full body can take time. Try a TRX workout--30 min and full body. I have a WOSS rather than a TRX=I like it better and use a lot of TRX videos that are avail on YouTube. I LOVE Body Fit by Amy. The simple hook up is on my living room ceiling screwed into a beam.

Chris- shut up. 😂 I need more than 30 minutes- just not looking for much over an hour a day. Thank you though, WFN

DP - on the days I want to work total body, I just manage to break it up a little. after 3-4 upper body, I'll throw in some legs and abs for a few reps then back to arms and so on. I bet under an hour would fit just right

Hey davidprincess, you might be surprised at a TRX workout..

Can't add anything to all your workout comments. The only lifting I do is getting Bobby into the car (for some reason he doesn't just jump in). But l can say that's a nice loss!

Planet fitness usually has one but they are not hung properly so it's difficult to do a good workout on one.

Great solution :). We do our routine then add in little things to get to my 200 kcal burned. It’s the little things like lat pull downs that I enjoy the most.

OK wholefood- I'l look into it.

That looks pretty good WFN- definitely not something I currently do and I would be embarrassed to do it in front of others because I'm not very graceful. I don't think the movements would be very fluid. I'll see what my PF looks like. Maybe there are some there hung better and if the place is fairly empty- I may give it a whirl! ❤

Look into PPL. Push, Pull, Legs. Generally a 6 day a week training schedule, 5-7 exercises per day so should be within that 1 hour time frame. And a full day for legs!

Hey dp!! I was itching to do some weights tonight. Have taken most of this week off and decided to do some odds and ends with 10lb dumbbells. Not much compared to what I’m used too but with tennis elbow, for those who know, lifting even a dinner plate is killer!!!! So I did some moves for 20 minutes or so after a quick warm up and it was fine!!! I was sooooo glad. Might not be out of the woods yet, but I’m ghetto going there!! 🤞🏻👍🏻
