Guys my macros are getting overridden by carbs😭

My current macro setting by the app is Carbs:Fat:Protein sitting at 50:30:20 respectively, but on a good day I’m coming in at 53:31:16☹️. Because I’m a high school student and I play sports, I need carbs to give me energy to play and to focus in class, but at the same time I desperately wanna get my protein up and my carbs down!

What should I do? What should I eat! Send help!🙏🏾🤭

@shamzyk I’m currently eating granola or cornflakes for breakfast, a chicken wrap or cheese sandwich for lunch, brown rice with tomato curry and lean meat for dinner, and fruit(apples, pineapple) or crackers for snacks

Diet whey protein shake to have a a mid morning or mid afternoon meal. It will push your protein up by about 7 to 10 percent

you could try switch your breakfast to an omlette instead eggs are good protein and can add some veg to it

Yes I think the 1st thing is to switch your breakfast to something that includes more protein. Do what works for you. Omelettes/eggs or something like Futurelife with an added egg to increase protein. Include some protein with your cheese sandwich as well. Even with your snacks. Biltong works great. The basic is just to make sure you're having a decent amount of protein with each meal/snack
