5kg down in one month!! I’ve been trying to lose weight since January but I’ve been failing. I started intermittent fasting in October and wow I’m amazed at the results
76 kg Lost so far: 5 kg.    Still to go: 10 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I do 18 hours of fast and 6 hours of eating. On most days I have my first meal at 3pm, and the second one at 9pm. That time is just convenient for me because I normally used to binge eat at night, but I don’t anymore because I will be full after my 9pm meal. I also did one meal a day (OMAD) for 2 weeks, eating at 9pm, and it was very effective in cutting calories and training myself to eat less.

I'm sooooooooo new in this weight loss game... Esp with this calorie counting app as well...i don't know how to post... Or to really keep track.. Or follow ppl... Or to even stay on track with ya'll yummy meals, weight loss and fitness gains!! Haha. So please excuse me if I make a mistake now and then posting etc lol.

Blackrose, you will get the hang of it soon. Always make sure to enter everything you eat in your food diary , and keep your it within your recommended daily intake. I always try to enter food into my diary before eating , so that I can adjust quantities if they exceed my daily targets. All the best xx

Thank you for the tip Charlamudita! I made the mistakes of eating the food first and then not knowing the weight of the food.. But I'll do as u suggested. I juts need to weigh my food first so that I can enter the proper quantity or weight of the food.😉😉😉🍲🍎🍳

Well done ! I have started 16:8 today , it was easy as I don’t usually have an appetite till noon. I am concerned that I will not get enough calories in for the day though. Weigh 76kgs and consumption is around 900 caps per day ... what is your intake and macros like ?

Moringa777 I am taking 1200 - 1300 calories per day (my RDI suggested by app is 1900, but research suggested 1200 - 1300). I don’t like small meals so IF helps me enjoy my big meals and still meet my daily targets. My macros 50% carbs, 30% fat and 20% protein as suggested by the app. I always enter food into my diary first before making it, so that I can adjust quantities to meet my calorie and macro targets.
