Dinner is rare where I live now. Part of a 2500 year culture of eating breakfast and lunch only. Dinner is only water. Lunch together is a common way to socialize. Try to have lunch at noon, but on a busy day it may slide out to 2pm. Still get me sometimes that I've become used to this, as it is so different to where I lived before.

Hi Diddlee! Thank you for your comment. Dinner is rare?? Wow, I wonder where it is. So you eat only twice a day, that means you do intermittent fasting everyday. It is good for your body. I am trying to eat only breakfast and dinner now.

The first few years I was 'cheating', but the last two years has been good. It has relation to the Buddhist culture, where Monk's walk in the village at sunrise, and offer blessings. People share their food with them. Monk's then go back to the Temple and set out their breakfast table. Leftovers for lunch. In respect for the monk's, people here do the same. Not all, but those I know do. Admire you who aim for two meals a day. Try to get there myself, but still find more comfort with three meals till noon. Hope I can say two meals only in maybe a couple of months.

Hi Diddlee again! I am Buddhist too. The reason I try to two meals a day is weight control and resting my inward organs. When my stomach is growling, I feel so good. It is like cleaning my body.
