I'm getting so damn tired of this. No matter how hard I try and no matter what I eat (or don't eat) my weight just keeps going up. FFS man 😫😭

Regroup. Choose a specific Plan other than what you are doing currently- with a calorie deficit..do 1 week and measure results. Change or mix things up...perhaps this could move the numbers slightly.

Michellean, I had the same problem earlier this year. Was so friggin fedup! Then at the beginning of June I had a fasting glucose test, and was diagnosed as diabetic. That at least explained why I kept on gaining. Now I just need to get myself together and get my diet sorted. And I have a bmi of 27, so I am not that overweight, but have been sedentary since last year after a knee injury. Never would have thought I could have diabetes. Maybe it will be worth looking into, google perhaps?

I started using a dietician with the mindful eating group. I'm also insulin resistant and with the meal plan she gave me I have just been losing and I do little exercise and I never starve. Always satisfied with the meals.

When I say little I mean that I only really started exercising a month ago. I exercise 5 days a week but the exercise is very light. 3 days cardio and 2 days resistance, strength and toning exercises.

Shift from light exercising to full cardio... for a full 6 days... 3 days in gym cardio... 3 days on the road... then incorporate 2 days resistance training... but keep in mind... what you do today, tomorrow u need to do more or faster...

Something I have learned is that what works for some might not work for others. my whole family was banting a while go and I joined in to lose weight, after a month I had GAINED weight. I was trying to hard, I wasnt cheating, what was going wrong?? I recently got my DNA genetics tested on what will help me lose weight based on my genetics, and it said to stay away from animal based fat... Banting would never work for me! no wonder! if you eat too little your body will want to conserve energy too, I dont have any advice, I'm not going to say this thing WILL work for you, but if what you're doing isn't working and you're trying really hard, maybe your body doesn't react to that and will react to something else.

yes I agree with the comment about measurements too. they often show progress when the scale doesn't. It also helps to keep a journal of your progress. Although you may not loose kg's each week you can make other progress like healthier choices, less binging, feeling better when you exercise.
