I'm pretty sure I have plans every weekend between now and August! I'm excited to stay busy, however the weekends always seem to be where I slip up and ruin my diet. How does everyone manage healthy eating while always on the go/eating out at restaurants?

I want to know too lol I always struggle but one thing that seems to help is planning my cheats. That helps me say no to somethings. And I use to keep lill bags of popcorn in my purse while I was out. Now I’m on Keto so no cheat days and no popcorn

Plan meals out in advance. Time social meals after heavy workouts. Fast for damage control. Most importantly, give yourself permission to live, to enjoy life and food with people you love without being self destructive.

I check online menus and decide what I’ll order before I get to the restaurant. If I can, I order salads with grilled chicken and have them leave off the cheese. Also, I volunteer to be the designated driver so I don’t have to explain why I’m not drinking alcohol.

I'm strictly calorie. I have the weekend planned as higher consumption days. I don't use the term cheat anymore. I see this as a long term strategy. Regular food. I see myself counting the calories forever. I'm 64. I have probably lost and then gained back a half ton since I was 13.

The simple answer and truth !!!! It is a MINDSET !!!! I KNOW WHAT I WANT AND WHAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE TO ACHIEVE IT....... I no longer want to be that big person looking back at the better me in the mirror..... Research the best items for nutritional value and incorporate them whenever or where ever you can, for as often as you can. Good luck !!!!
