I'm struggling with constipation even though I eat all bran every morning and have fruit for lunch 5 days a week. What am I doing wrong?

I have had constipation for 35 years. Been to nutrition they've put me on a high fibre, that was a disaster, bloated and in 3 days pick up 5kg. Clean colon ever year and that didn't help either. Psylllium Husk, water, coffee with raw honey and exercise work for me. Eliminate things that makes you bloated, cabbage, beans etc.

I find that Black Forest tea helps a lot. Have 1 cup before bedtime and it will help things move along in the morning. And it should be available from your local Spar or PicknPay.

Alo vera crystals are also a great way to detox/get your bowls moving. Buy from a pharmacy so you know you getting the best... I have one matchhead size once every two weeks to just get my system clean. Please do speak to your doctor before trying any new things. They know you best!
