Yeah, it's good to treat yourself occasionally, just make sure to adjust your calories later. Hubby loves onion rings!

You, Salt Lady, have been reported.

Salt Lady, I respect that you may choose not to eat this meal. It is in fact merely a sandwich & onion rings....a very tasty one. I can eat a meal like this for many reasons. I have been maintaining at goal for almost 4 years. In fact, I actually weigh 10 lbs. less than my goal. This is actually half of a resteraunt meal, shared with my Hubby. My dinner the night before was a salad topped with salmon. My dinner last night was black beans topped with eggs. I balance what I eat so that overall I burn more calories than I take in. I also work out 2 or more hours 3 days a week. Continued....

Continued....I'm also active on other days walking, gardening, maintaining our home. Granted if I ate this every day I would struggle to maintain. I post what I actually eat to show you can eat a variety of foods and maintain a healthy weight. After years of yo-yoing I have learned how to make good choices that contribute to what I feel is a healthy lifestyle. My doctors have been pleased with my lab results at all of my checkups for several years.

I addressed my comments to Salt Lady, but I had already planned to clarify why I found it acceptable to eat what some may feel is not a "diet friendly" meal. I actually may have eaten this, even when I was eating in a deficit. I probably would have tweaked it by eating half of the onion rings & definitely eating a very light meal for dinner. I don't feel like we have to deprive ourselves....you just have to use smart planning to achieve a balance.

I would eat that!! No one should tell anyone what to eat. I just got where I have 1 or 2 meals or snacks once a week. and I'm still losing weight. We don't need the food police on this site. Everyone is different and if it works for ya great of not don't be judging others just keep your mouth shut and keep a scrolling 🙂

Amen Sherry. And great shirlfleur. We don’t need negativity or nastiness around here. Sherry has been a proven success on here for a long time

To the salt lady, it's you're not your. Stop being rude. If you have nothing nice to say, just keep scrolling.

Okay I'mma say it. @the salt lady, I can see why you chose that username tbh. You're a Karen, and a hypocrite. You say people need encouragement and wisdom, yet here you are berating someone for having a perfectly acceptable meal. How do you know this isn't Sherry's cheat day? Did you know that one cheat day per week actually helps people stick to their diet plan by preventing relapse or simply giving up? Right, bet ya didn't. Go back to Facebook with that attitude, we don't tolerate it around these parts.

And now to address the *real* reason I came here... remind me to pick up some Arby's on my next cheat day because I kinda want a Reuben now. 🤤
