3 Oct 2022 vs today. I lost around 14.6kg. Everything was “obese” when i started. Now i am working towards getting my BMI to the “healthy” range and i am 3.6kg away 😍

Thanks Pree. I limited my carb intake to 50g per day. I basically ate fruit, veg and meat. I also ran 5km 3-4 times a week. Drank 2-3 litres of water daily and had small treats (within my calorie and carb limits). I had a 800 calorie deficit from meals daily (i only consumed 1200). I am not a breakfast eater, so add intermittent fasting.

@itsjunglewomansa… i was not hungry at all hey. Sometimes i just ate to not starve myself. What helped were the big meals 600kcal each (two meals) so i was always full. Drank lots of tea aswell. Yes i was strict to not go over 2000 cal even on days i was overindulging. I could still drink 3 glasses of wine and still be within my limit too.

Congratulations on the weightloss! That's amazing! But I do have to say that personally I hate using BMI to track 'healthy weight' because it's archaic and it doesn't take into account a lot of factors like muscle vs fat % so if you have a lit of muscles and your weight is 'high' it will show obese but actually muscle weighs more than fat. Also it doesn't consider bone density or any other anatomical factors. It's an okay guide but should DEFINITELY not be the main or even most important way to track your journey 😊
