Today I am going to not have any caffeine and see if it might be affecting my sleep. I have a hard time believing that 2 cups of coffee at 5 a.m. is making me not sleep at 2 a.m. That sounds crazy. But I am going to see what happens. And of course only caffeine free pop. I try hard to not intake any caffeine after 3 p.m. (chocolate excluded)but I am tired of disrupted sleep. Melatonin does a big fat nothing for me. Having a new puppy made sleep worse than usual just from checking him and pottying in the middle of the night. (Him and I both).
94.9 kg Lost so far: 18.1 kg.    Still to go: 4.3 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Magnesium blend for me. My doc said 1000mg, and that does the trick. +CBD if I'm over caffeinated. No valerian for me - weirdly it keeps me awake. The magnesium is very good for anxiety and sleep.

trazadone! life changing! non-narcotic, non-habit forming. it's an anti-anxiety med that just helps to quiet your mind in the night. my brain switches on at 1 am and then I'm up and going. I also have cycle-ralated insomnia. trazadone let me sleep through the night for the first time in 20 years.

Coffee is harder for me to give up than dessert! I always want 2 cups but that 2nd one makes me pee my pants! 🤭😂 Can't do it when I'm on a flight! Dang, I love it so much! Feeling your pain! I hate those nights when I can't sleep either. They say just get up and you'll get tired eventually. That doesn't really work for me. I would just stay up ALL night. Yeah, maybe fall asleep by the time you have to get up for work or whatever.
