I like cold slaw very much after a day or two marinating in the refrigerator, but isn't kale kind of tough immediately after putting on salad dressing?

I love baby limas!

SnowWhite, my kale salad is a bagged salad I bought at Costco. It has sliced Brussels sprouts, broccoli stalks, cabbage, chicory & kale with dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds. I find it very tasty & the kale is fine.

The trick to soften kale for salad is to sprinkle it with a little salt the crush and roll it. In the mixes they just slice it very thin.

I love that mix from Costco. Shrimp and baby limas are 2 of my FAVs! Looks delicious.
