It's made from soya and tofu. I had a bad first night but after i added spices and barbeque sauce it was Great. I doubt it will ease a meatlover but for me it was great

Unfortunately these type of products don’t agree with me. I’ve eaten the soy products from fry’s and soya prawns etc. My stomach hates me afterwards. Animal products contains many nutrients a human being and many animals and even plant life need. We eat it to survive. But if you’re worried about your carbon foot print in the world, which is affecting global warming. Then you can make better choices. By buying from farms that treat their animals well and to reduce your beef intake, as cows produce a gas that destroys the ozone layer around earth. But soy also plays a major roll when it comes to carbon production. But most of it is because they use soy to feed animals. Eggs and chicken and certain fish products have a smaller carbon foot print. Soy and beef and certain fish products have a very high carbon foot print. But just buy food that feeds your body. Your health is what matters at the end of the day 💚

Hey fatgirlslim, this is a topic I can talk about for hours because i find it so interesting! Nutritional, health and the climate. I can read up about if for hours. I used to believe we need meat and it took me very long to change my mind. Many many studies are showing that we can do just fine without it. What we are in danger of is vitamin b12 but honestly meat eaters need to supplement that as well. It's a bacteria that is found in soil and poop and we are just to 'clean ' to get enough if that bacteria in. But don't worry i am cautious. I am not planning on going full vegan, but I'm aiming 70 percent based on the research done on blue zones. Blue zones are the areas were people are the most healthy and live the longest. In short they eat almost no animal products. Lots of beans veggies and fruit and no pressed meat and very little. Logically this makes sense to me and it's done wonders for my health since i made the switch. It's also better for the planet.

@Lallie, the blue zone that I am familiar with, consumes a considerable amount of olive oil and wine 😁they eat more fish, eggs and a moderate amount of chicken and very little red meat. The Mediterranean diet? My family is from the Mediterranean and my great grandmother and aunt lived well over 100 years old. My grandmother lived till 95 but unfortunately died from a tumour. Any who, enough about my family history. Yes! you are right😄there are many people that have deficiencies even while eating meat. Especially when taking certain medications. Vitamin D and vitamin B12 are the most common. As well as B1/thiamine, which is found in nuts and seeds as well as chicken. I’m not against the vegan diet or any diet for that matter. We all have our individual needs. As long as we are educated in our life choices and thriving. The best indication is, our energy levels and how we sleep. You can develope mental health issues if you follow the wrong diet for your blood type. Even the keto diet can kill people with kidney stones, and who are insulin dependent. Type 1 diabetics. The list is longer. That’s why it’s best to speak to a dietitian. But I’ve tried soya products as well as tofu. My body bloats and I feel so uncomfortable and sick. So avoid them 🙂 eggs and broccoli are my two favourite things to eat 😄

The mediterianian diet dit not make the blue zone list. There is one greek island that is part of the blue zone and ts close to mediterianian diet but not exactly the same. I'm not sure what the name is but I'm a massive fan of the mediterianian diet anyway. I think it's a great way to go. Red wine people. Red wine...

As for keto i nearly went that way because of the before and after photos on social media. But statistically a lot of heath issues develop from low card diets and keto seems to be the most dangerous. I Defendanty don't recommend that route unless a dietician recommends it and monitores them.
