@TarynJ-S I don't track macros or calories unfortunately so I can't help there. I'm sorry. I just make sure to keep all carbs and sugars out of my diet. No preservatives or sweeteners because your body reacts to sweeteners in the same way it does to sugar. It's how I control my insulin levels. Take a look at how to control your insulin levels (it causes inflammation in various parts of the body). Also look at how to improve your gut bacteria. You want to eat as clean as possible, no processed foods.

@Sebenza currently I haven't noticed any loose skin at this point. I believe I am losing slow enough that my body is adjusting accordingly. I was also not that my biggest size for very long so that might be helping a bit as well. But I do think it has a lot to do with the slow speed of my weight loss.

Thank you so much everyone for all the love. Seeing your comments just makes me want to keep going even more. I never thought I could do this or be an inspiration to anyone so I am so glad that I can do that now. Just keep pushing. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. You are only fighting yourself. Never doubt yourself or your abilities. It may be challenge everyday but just remember why you started!!

Thank you!! I am 100% with you re the sugars and insulin spikes. I have had a dramatic improvement to my autoimmune stuff with Keto and I am also a big believer in cutting out processed foods. So do you track the net carbs from the low carb Veg you eat or just stick to that and not measure anything?

@TarynJ-S I have an eating disorder so it has been a battle for many years. I did an out-patient course at a rehab facility for a few months and they were very adamant on not counting carbs or calories. They said it can become an obsession as well as destructive because as soon as you do something wrong it can affect your view of yourself. That has always kind of stuck with me. For some people it really works because of course different things work for different people. Some days I eat 3 meals a day and some days I eat 1. Its never intentional, I just try and listen to my body. If I have 2 bites left of my steak on my plate and I feel full I stop. Its OK to throw away food.

So profoundly well said! Love that insight, thank you!

Your approach feels healthy and drama free!! I have a tendency to want perfection rather than allowing things to be what they are. Quite the defect of character I must say. Your progress is very inspiring, and your message is one that I needed to hear today 🌈

@TarynJ-S thank you for that! I am surprising relaxed with how I am handling this journey and I am really glad I could help. You motivate me to keep going ❤️
